Premium quality compatible toner, specifically formulated for the these models. One each of Black, Cyan and Yellow toner bottles. The 510 gram bottles are sized for one refill of the high yield colour cartridges (27,000 sheets at 5% nominal coverage). The cartridge also needs a replacement chip to reset it, as the original chip locks out.

The chip is not included but it is available separately. The individual bottles and chips are available. Please note that a successful refill is not guaranteed. This item is the material for refilling only (toner bottles and funnel tops).

Whilst the majority of refilled cartridges give excellent print quality, this depends on the state of your used cartridge. Since refilling is a DIY activity there is also potential for you do something wrong. If a fault develops with your cartridge you may reclaim the unused toner and use it in another one. This printer has a separate imaging drum unit.

There is little that can go wrong with the toner cartridge. Refilling is straightforward with the "Slide, Shutter and Pour" method, by refilling through the shutter where the toner comes out from.
